Puerto Vallarta  Marlin can reach up to 1,200 lbs but on average size is 200-500 lbs  Marlin only live in the Pacific and Indian Oceans and like Sailfish Black Marlins commonly move into relatively shallow water, along or near continental shelves or the coastlines of islands like Corbetena and El Banco where You will go from 1,000 FT water depths to a 100 in a second and the water temperatures will increase dramatically both el Banco and Corbetena are huge rocks 36 and 50 miles offshore of Puerto Vallarta and are great feeding grounds for all fish and within easy reach with all of Our fishing boats. The Puerto Vallarta Marlin fishing Season starts in June and the most conistent bite will normally be the hottest months of the year  July, August, September, but the biggest Marlin are normally caught October and November and dies down mid January. the Tuna and Marlin tournament is normally held in July and the 62nd international Sailfish and Marlin Tournament will be held in Marina Vallarta mid November 2017.
